Festivals
Festivals are an
exciting opportunity for students Pre- school and up to perform in front
of a audience and receive adjudications. Dancers perform as a group so
each class has the choice as a group to whether or not they want to
participate. Festivals are not based on 1st 2nd,3rd
but rather on a standard marking system where each group is
awarded a medal - Bronze, Silver, Gold. Each group is really striving
on their own to achieve their best.

All Festivals will be held at the Red
Deer College Performing Arts Centre. Festival Fee’s TBA - we will not
know for a while what the fees for this year will be.
In previous years, the cost for a group has been around $20 per child
per festival. Fees for festivals are usually due by the first week
of January.
Costumes
Your teacher will be picking out your
group's costumes.
Costumes will be ordered from an online costume
company. In previous years, costumes have cost between $35 and
$90 dollars (depending on costume, exchange rate and shipping costs).
Orders must be
paid for and placed by the end of November to ensure delivery in time
for rehearsals and the completion of any required alterations.
